Bruce "Bent Banana" Harper was an American blues guitarist and singer.

Not much of Bent Banana Harper came to us. What we know for sure is that he was a pioneer of blues and rock music. He performed between the end of the 1920s and the beginning of the 1930s in the Chicago area. His only picture that came to us is a mugshot. He stayed in the shadows for about seventy years, he came back to lights in 2008, when a collection of his rare recordings named Blues Pioneer has been released. Surprisingly enough, this virtually unknown artist and his album collected thousands of downloads and plays in music sites all over the web. In 2009 Sinner, a new collection of his previously lost recordings has been released for the joy of his fans all around the world.
